Diversity Training
The workforce can be a complex place to work when people are unwilling to accept the unique blend of people that work beside them on an everyday basis. This country has come a long way from the 50's and 60's., but we still have work to do. There are problems that exist in the workplace regarding people with special attributes. Those attributes can be age differences, gender, religious beliefs, race, national origins, or sexual orientation.
The organization has a responsibility and an obligation to reasonably ensure that treatment conveyed toward those within the protected class receive equal treatment. The employees of that agency are also responsible for ensuring that they treat people with respect and kindness.
This training in diversity provided by Cartersolutions has a unique method of conveying information that does not allow an individual to become uncomfortable or feel that they are singled out. In most training sessions, the company likes to call the training sensitivity training which equals diversity training any way to put it. Diversity training conveys our differences and binds our ability to work together collectively to meet the goals and objectives of an agency. The training is structure to encourage participation in group and teambuilding exercises. It is very informative. As the Instructor for the course, I learned firsthand how these training programs lead to success for an agency. The training presentation and exercises are a minimum of four hours.
